BEHIND THE GOALS

Goosebumps has opened the door into the Polo world. In 2023, our camera-crew was able to go backstage at the Polo Rider Cup in Saint-Tropez, a prestigious tournament which is a sort of World Cup for polo clubs around the world. After having produced the live action in 2022, the goal this year was a step in another direction.

"Polo is a discipline that I discovered two years ago and ever since, I've been completely hooked" explains Philippe Leweurs, the Director. "With Olivier Godallier -President & Founder of GAME POLO - we wanted to produce something that attracts more than simply polo fans. The decision was therefore made to create a 52-minute documentary that follows the event. We were lucky enough to meet some of the people who make this sport so unique. We were able to capture some incredible moments with some experienced riders and spent time with the Argentinian stars, as well as some of the passionate businessmen and women who face-off at the Polo Rider Cup every year."

Thanks to this new video format that focuses on the inside world of the sport, the Polo Rider Cup will be able to reach and excite a whole new audience, notably with its impending broadcast on CNBC across America.
